A few straightforward things to know about using AuraLock and this website.
Updated 29 October 2026
Availability
AuraLock is a focus app for iPhone and iPad running iOS or iPadOS 18 or later. It is currently in internal TestFlight testing. This website does not offer a public download or promise a launch date. Features, plans and availability may change before release. TestFlight builds may expire or contain errors.
Using the app
AuraLock helps you set intentional focus sessions. You choose your settings and are responsible for using the app appropriately on devices you own or are authorized to manage. A parent or guardian must provide the required authorization when setting up parental mode. Do not use the app to control someone else’s device without lawful authority and consent where required.
Apple’s terms
App distribution, purchases and TestFlight testing are also subject to Apple’s applicable terms. Unless a separate app license is supplied through the App Store, the Apple Standard End User License Agreement applies to the app as applicable. These website terms do not replace your rights under Apple’s terms or consumer law.
Free and Pro features
The website describes the current free and Pro feature sets. Available products, localized prices, payment periods and any purchase conditions are displayed through Apple in the app before you purchase. We do not promise that pre-release plans or test prices will be the final public offering.
Auto-renewing subscriptions continue until canceled under Apple’s subscription terms. Manage or cancel them in your Apple Account settings. A one-time lifetime purchase unlocks the applicable Pro entitlement; availability and Family Sharing are subject to the product details shown by Apple. Restore purchases using the same Apple Account. Apple handles payments and refund decisions.
Screen Time and focus limitations
Shielding requires permission and depends on Apple’s Screen Time frameworks, device settings and system delivery of scheduled callbacks. Timer-only mode does not block other apps. Individual authorization can be revoked, and Hardcore prevents early exit inside AuraLock without making the device impossible to bypass. Parental mode requires Apple child authorization and a separate parent PIN; it is not a remote monitoring service.
AuraLock is not an emergency, medical, safety, or guaranteed supervision system. Avoid selecting essential apps for a shield. Completed timers and achievements are local progress indicators, not proof that a person stayed offline. No particular productivity, wellness, or behavioral result is guaranteed.
Local data and parent PINs
Focus history and progress are stored on your device. There is no AuraLock account or cloud sync, and removing the app may remove local history. Your system backups are controlled by Apple. Keep the separate parent PIN safe: there is no local forgotten-PIN recovery. See Support before configuring parental protection.
