Open TestFlight, select AuraLock, and tap Send Beta Feedback. You can also take a screenshot in AuraLock and share it through TestFlight.

Starting a focus session

Choose Deep work, Study, or Unwind and adjust the duration between 15 and 120 minutes. In Session options, choose timer-only mode or set up an app shield. Tap Enter focus to begin.

Timer only leaves apps accessible. Shielded sessions require Screen Time authorization and an app selection. If authorization fails, AuraLock shows an error rather than claiming apps are blocked.

Screen Time and app shields

Authorize Screen Time when prompted and choose the apps to shield. The free plan allows up to three individual apps; categories, websites and unlimited selections require Pro. Permissions and system enforcement are managed by iOS.

With individual authorization, you can revoke permission in iOS Settings or remove the app. Hardcore prevents early cancellation inside AuraLock, but it cannot make a personally authorized device impossible to bypass. Real-device system enforcement is still being verified before public release.

Sanctuary and parental mode

Sanctuary is a Pro feature for recurring daily windows, including overnight windows. Parental mode additionally requires child authorization through Apple Family Sharing and a separate six-digit parent PIN configured on the child’s device. It has no remote dashboard.

Keep your parent PIN safe. The child’s biometrics and device passcode cannot approve parental changes. There is no local forgotten-PIN recovery. Repeated wrong attempts trigger a cooldown. If you need help, contact the developer through the channel above; support cannot promise to bypass iOS protection.

Completed focus sessions earn one minute of recreation for every three minutes of focus. A 15-minute recreation break suspends the Sanctuary shield only; a separate manual focus shield stays active. This is a local reward and does not verify time spent offline.

Purchases, subscriptions and restore

Apple processes purchases. Prices and available plans appear in the app in your currency. Use the restore option in AuraLock with the same Apple Account used for the purchase. TestFlight purchases use Apple’s sandbox and are for testing.

Manage or cancel a subscription in Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting AuraLock does not cancel an Apple subscription. For billing or a refund request, use Apple’s purchase support. Refund decisions are handled by Apple.

Your data and history

Session history, streaks and achievements are stored on your device. AuraLock has no account or cloud sync. Uninstalling the app may remove its local history; iOS backups may contain a copy. Streaks and time-based achievements use your device’s current time zone. Read the privacy policy for more.

Something looks different?

The website shows the current development build. Features and layouts may change before public release. AuraLock requires iOS or iPadOS 18 or later; Screen Time features also depend on Apple permissions and device configuration.
